What... regular classes are you taking? Is it at... a university? How... does your necromancy work.

I'm not taking any classes right now, I'm on break. I'm affiliated with a university, but my program is heavy on research. I spend more time in the lab or the field instead of an actual classroom. How my necromancy works... How do you mean?

I don't mind questions, that's just a really broad one.

For fun and science! I mostly work with dragon skeletons and subfossils.

Oh, then... you don't have to... cope with active decomposition.

Ew, no. If something is fresh enough for that, I'm going to clean all the soft tissue off before I do anything with it.

Yep! No muscles or tendons required.

That's very interesting—! How big... are the skeletons?

[bowtiedbones]

I do any size. My biggest has a skull the size of a truck!

That sounds—very imposing. Does the difficulty of the magic increase proportionately... with the size of the skeleton, or does it not matter? And... did you bring any with you...?

It increases, but it's not exactly proportional. The general framework isn't different for reviving a small dragon versus a large dragon, but how you animate it can be harder. If I wanted to make a freshwater fisher skeleton swim through the air, I could do that with my level of skill, but that's not something I could do for a sea serpent. But I can let my biggest dragon fly, because he has wings, he was a magical animal meant for flying, he already has the channels for that to happen.

I don't think... we have dragons, where I come from.

[they're very clean white bones. one is just a pigeon, and the other has a spiky skull with a beak like a parrot's]

They're pretty rare, even in places where they do occur.
