I don't mind. Using a circle like this is called a beginner's ward, and it's one of the first things you should get used to when you're learning sigil-based magic.

What does a sigil do?

Sigils can do a bunch of different things, but they're like reference points or shortcuts. For example, I could put a sigil on this circle that would make the circle null its effects after a set period of time.
