We don't have many of those where I'm from.

Where I'm from, either, but they're dreadfully common in other places, I hear.

I believe that's more of a thing in the neighboring country, but that's mostly songbirds and seabirds... they tend to have very, very long-term relationships.

In general, most of my kind will generally stay a few years, if they're not raising chicks, or getting their rocks off with more than one person to begin with.
